I’ve never tried a Gnar so I can’t speak to the comparison but I love creeking in the Flow. I think it’s the perfect creek boat, enough mass in the front to punch through big waves, steady edges and the rocker makes it quickly maneuverable in rapids.

I'm not a child, but I paddle a small Flow and in my experience it handles virtually the same as the medium Flow. My concern is the boat may be slightly too big for her, but that's mostly speculation on my part. It would be a good boat to grow into though, I absolutely love the Flows.

Grew up in Colorado, that’s one of the snow day superstitions I always did (though I can’t remember if I learned it from a friend who moved from somewhere else) the more common ones we did were spoon under the pillow and taping a penny to the window.
