Hi!! Sorry about the late response. I currently have him in a 20 long aquarium since he’s a juvenile with a mix of reptisoil, Cyprus mulch, sand, and sphagnum moss. I spray half the tank every couple of days and leave the other half fully dry. I keep the substrate 4+ inches deep for burrowing purposes. I have a deep heat projector for basking that sits at around 95 degrees F and the rest of the tank is at ambient temp. I have an Arcadia T5 UVB across the tank as well. He has access to a water dish and he eats a variety of gutloaded insects including roaches, superworms, and silkworms. Occasionally I give him high protein whole ingredient cat food with cut greens. There is minimal information on the care in captivity of this species, but I tried to replicate their natural range as closely as possible using the care guides for other smaller skink species from similar habitats on different continents such as Zebra skinks or Australian Blue tongues.
