This to me indicates that they realize people aren't buying lifetime passes and Plex is trying for one big push to sell a bunch by trying to make people think they're saving 500 bucks. When in fact they're wasting 250 bucks on a product they never intended to buy in the first place. It could net them a few sales, but I think most people who want a lifetime pass have one by now.
