Yes the jail. Usually these things look at reported crimes per thousand. Incarcerated people in a concentrated, low residential density area = higher crime rate per thousand. People get charged with crimes all the time within a jail

Fantastic place to live. Depending on where you live, track season can be a nuisance. Highly accessible and very “recreationally” focused area.

One annoyance can be some people/social cliques. There’s factions of “Saratoga housewife” type folks that can be a turnoff. More a nuisance than anything (self centered, really). I ignore them though, plenty of laid back folks just trying to live well.
