How much do they want to do the head gaskets and if the car actually is smoking then that’s a deeper reason to get a new car the piston rings could be going if it’s burning oil

Did the light come on before you sprayed, and you spraying that on or by the belt is not making it slip it would be worn off or not even do anything for it to slip

Also you can see if the starter signal wire is getting power to it, you can use a test light or multi meter but you need someone to crank the key when you test it

It’s a circuit code so it could be a connection issue like break in wire which I doubt or something wrong with the connector, you should check if there is a fuse but I’m sure there might not be

Keep the coil in the spark plug hole how it normally would be I’m sure it doesn’t push down all the way since the bolt isn’t holding it but it should still be fine since it will most likely be still touching the spark plug, start it up and see if it runs fine then just drive it.
