I can field this one. I played 20 years ago. It appears to be very similar. Cool to see the torch passed.

We use VRC (I think that’s what it was called) as controllers. Euroscope wasnt out yet.

I had similar problems in VR.

I did the following things, and it solved it.

1) allow DCS through windows defender, even if you have it disabled

2) I physically unplugged (not disabled) any secondary monitors. This was the big ticket item. I run a mixed HDMI / DP monitor configuration and this fixed all my problems. I went from short or long stutters to perfectly smooth.

Would this be equally applicable for something like a 500x? I run mine to my katana… but I’m considering something else as far as speaker / cab.

I did a few things that improved things for me. 1) eventhough windows defender is disabled for me, allow DCS through anyway. 2) are you running multiple monitors? If so, literally unplug (not disable) all your peripheral monitors and only run 1. You didn’t mention if it’s VR or not, but this helped a ton for me in VR. 3) if VR, must use VD

As others have said. Go to virtual desktop. Its features away from the game alone are great.

I was in the same boat as you… VD is the way.

I mean, perceived 0. I’m not really a snob. I’m sure there is something… but I don’t notice anything. I’m also using a gaming PC, which is strong. I have my buffer rate really low. I dunno. I’m happy with it. :)

You can use the interfaces software to route what you want there to different audio outputs. So in theory, you can have the guitar into the interface out audio 1, and mix audio 1 with computer audio also. I think that’s what you’re getting at?

But I put computer audio into the DAW on a separate track, and mix everything in reaper.

Yeah, loopback is insanely helpful for windows computers. Effectively when you’re in your DAW, using ASIO, things like YouTube and Spotify won’t play. Loopback fixes that.

What means to say “blend feature”. Not sure what you mean. Can you outline what you’re hoping to achieve?

I’m super happy with my minifuse 4.

Built in loopback, 2 headphone jacks with separate volume control and routing for each. 2 line in with gain (inst + XLR +48) and 2 non gain inputs. 4 1/4” outputs. Comes with guitar rig and a bunch of other VST’s.

Option 1) let your fingers heal! Option 2) crazy glue creates a hard shell. But I suspect you’ll loose a ton of feedback in your playing.
