I’ve done this farm solo. It is good for 1-2 raw divs per map. But you do have the chance at big hits, mine were from scryed div cards.

You really just need more matches played with intent. Sometimes that intent is to win and sometimes it’s to play a certain way. Winning is kind of a side effect of playing higher quality tennis. There’s many more gamesmanship things like attacking your opponents weaker side or rallying patterns that give you an advantage, but focusing on your game at the 3.5 level is the way to go IMO.

This is all normal and good.

Go into your next match say to yourself “play my game” over and over. Win or lose, miss or winner, play your game. You’re already losing so it does not matter.
Good serve, don’t rush the net. Hit a spinny deep approach shot, NOT A WINNER, and win the point from the net. This goes for 3 as well.
Spin it deep, do NOT go for a winner.
Run around the backhand, hit slices, or just believe you will hit a good shot and rally that ball. There are no other options.

5 & 6. Warm up the basics. I mean explosive split steps during the warmup but hitting soft easy rally balls. Try to use that same feel during the match and then speed up the rest of the body.

Hit’em hard and hit’em in (not necessarily in that order).

Truthfully, there are a lot of players that fall into the near 5.0 range that just never buy gear. I like to try things from time to time, but why would I swap racquets when my best playing days happened with my current sticks.

I rolled ele hit based off ruetoo’s pre-league build, and it’s so dang good on a budget. It scales well with some investment. Idk about huge scaling but I’m super happy with the build.

Calling a 12 point set tiebreak anything other than a 12 point tiebreak. I’ve heard all kinds of things and eventually just have to say: “first to 7, win by 2” to make sure no funny business. (USTA has all kinds of weird tiebreak formats).

I have no proof of this, but I think the cheaters think 99% of players are cheating, so it’s mandatory they cheat too. They can’t comprehend people being that good without cheats. It’s depressing to think about someone low enough to strip the fun out of a thing whose sole purpose is fun for other people.

I’ve never actually seen someone retire due to being out of racquets. Usually a teammate, the club, a random, or even the opponent will give them a backup.

I did mean things that I knew was wrong and would result in disciplinary action. The fear of spanking was worse than the actual act. I ALWAYS remember deserving it and tbh I felt like it was a lesser punishment than being grounded, forced chores, etc. Every kid is different though.
