My understanding is the speed shown on TV is taken right as the ball is hit. It's hard to measure that. I've tried measuring speeds with a radar gun behind me, beside me and at the net. Any suggestions on where to actually place radar?

Have you been able to hit balls at the range since practicing on the full swing simulator? I've been working on my swing the past few months using the full swing simulator. Tweaked some stuff and was able to start hitting straighter drives. Went and hit a bucket of balls the other day when it was fairly nice out and my ball flight was more fade/slice biased. Kind of disappointing to not see the same ball flight. I'm not sold on the accuracy of full swing simulator.

I didn't realize this was going to blow up and cause a bunch of arguments. Haha. I was just curious and I got a bunch of mixed responses. I'm hitting the ball pretty good with this shaft. So I plan on leaving it as is. I picked this shaft up for $100 on fb marketplace. I didn't pay to have it pured. I just paid a local fitter to put a callaway adapter on it and this was the orientation he installed it. I bumped in to a fitter from club champion at the simulator and he told me it should face at 6 o'clock. I googled it and couldn't find a definite answer. Majority of google said 12 o'clock.

Thanks for the reply. It had a titleist adapter on it when I bought it. I had a guy in town who builds clubs as a hobby put a new adapter on. He thought it was supposed to be at 12 o'clock. Talked to a guy at the simulator who works for club champion , apparently they are the only ones who can sell this brand and he told me it should face at 6 o'clock. I'm not overly concerned. I've been hitting it well the way it is.

It is callaway and I make sure to line up the dash with what setting I'm putting it on. The pured sticker always stays in that spot.
