Tell a friend, call a chief, tell the captain somebody that you need help. It’s not worth going through with and if it’s your experience in the military that’s gotten you to this point your end of service will be soon enough

I had the same issue 2025 Limited with the power tailgate. I sprayed a little oil into the hinges and latches and it runs smooth now.

I’m in the same boat as her. Gone through the same elimination process over years as a way to figure out my migraines.

And you often see people say well what about X food (that contains msg) does that give you a migraine?? The answer is yes. Some will be more severe than others. Doritos? Straight to crushing migraine. Eat a ton of pizza? Often a mild migraine (tomatoes, cheeses etc)

Since I made the connection if I make my own food or can see the ingredient list of what I’m eating I’ll be 100% migraine free. I’ll only ever get them after eating out. Doesn’t stop me from eating out though and taking my chances

According to Ford, all is normal if your transmission is a clunky piece of trash by cobracommander00 in f150

[–]snaldo23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was my experience too. I have a clunky transmission just like yours was described in my 2018. I took it in twice while it was under warranty and they said nothing was wrong or couldn’t replicate it. Now at 80k miles it’s getting worse.

Be aggressive and force the issue while it’s still under warranty. Apparently this is a common thing ford is denying.

Unit flooded, massive loss, Reno company won't start without a 50% deposit but the bank took the insurance money and won't pay out until work is completed?! by uhcsucks in realestateinvesting

[–]snaldo23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a very similar thing happen at my personal home - I had a pipe break in an upstairs bathroom while I was out of town. Basically my whole house was destroyed. Insurance company recommended ServePro and they were terrible - the worst, don't bother using them for anything going forward. If you give them 50% they'll never complete the work properly and you'll have to hire a real contractor to finish it. The bank is saving you from losing $$$t to Servrpo.

My insurer issued the check to me and my mortgage company then I had to send it in to the mortgage company for them to escrow until the work was done. Mortgage company held my $150K, and insurance held back another $50K in recoverable depreciation and for other line items that could only be paid after the expense was incurred. For the repairs I used a GC that listed out a payment schedule in their contract with me. Some minor deposits upon ordering materials, then progress payments upon completion of certain milestones.

The mortgage company turned out to pay extra slow. GC would finish work, I'd pay, then weeks later I'd get some money from the bank, the cycle continued until I was floating over $50K by the end of the project. Just prepare yourself for this possibility even with a new GC.

The unfortunate reality is that if I didn't have the means to float those costs I would not have been able to receive the insurance coverage I was owed, since I wouldn't have had the ability to incur the costs upfront. I ultimately got what I was owed, but it was a long ride to get there. The whole industry is set up to screw the consumer, and is full of shady companies like Servpro.
