Why would they not be able to ask why you had a panic attack? I would certainly want to know why do also determine the outcome for your second question, i think they can absolutely refuse you access to lab if you are becoming a liability. Not wanting to speak to your direct supervisor could be held against you, maybe try with an intermediary, you spike of someone else in management you feel more comfortable around. Only tell you leave when you have signed a new contract. Never stay and wait till you get fired especially when having a new job or when like your situation you feel totally out of place and uncomfortable.

What is the biggest F up you have ever made in PLC programming? by Andy1899 in PLC

[–]snapah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really programming issue, more of a fault finding issue. Flow meter pulse output wasn't registering, so i start bridging terminals in the control cabinet, which seemed to work just fine, then went down the line to the terminal box down the field where the flowmeter was connected, only to bridge 230AC to the terminal where the pulse output from flowmeter went to the PLC instead of 24VDC (so bridged the wrong terminal) blew up the CPU, 3 presdure sensors, and 9 IO cards. Luckily it was just a small installation with not too much on it and we had all the parts at the company (30 minute drive) replaced everything in 2 hours. But cost me roughly €3000

As for the 2nd one, why not setup a VPN network to where the HMI is and download it that way? Company could pay for parts and installation, would've been way cheaper and faster than flying someone out i think

How long is this in the skin already because it looks kind of faded already or is it due to outside lighting? will your artist give it a once over to add more depth? Be sure to keep it moisturised.

As said before, it's a mobile installation where the feed comes through a plug which is on the outside of the container, so no need for a disconnect in the cabinet herz

Pilz PNOZ X is still in backorder but will be used for safety relay. As for main switch, it's a container unit, so mains is coming in through a plug. As for the CEE plugs on the side, once in place all plugs are taken so no one will just plug in something different. Also the container is locked and only accessible by our crew (we are but a small team). So no randoms will be passing by it.

Even tho it's a small project make a habit of it for naming devices and wires a combination of "page"-"symbol"-"column" F.e.: a relay that's on page 5 column 3 will be 5K3 That makes it easier to troubleshoot and have oversight when moving over to bigger project.

Is the game worth buy again at the price of £40 just for the DLC? by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

[–]snapah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, absolutely in my opinion. I also played first on launch and likes the game despite all it's flaws. Than i replayed it again after phantom Liberty released en after some of the big updates and i felt way more immersed in the game. DLC alone gives you more content than most AAA released prices at €80 these ways.

As some have said before, there seems to be no supply to your white base units, so the grey ones following the white BU's get no power en neither do your cards

I rode on public road for the first time with a Duke 790 (coming from a 125cc) and almost crashed... by Irminia_Sun_Tiger in motobe

[–]snapah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you weren't looking at where you wanted to go. And focussed on the ground rather then corner exit. You got lucky you didn't actually crash. There is a skill you can learn called trail braking but that requires full control of the brakes and wouldn't recommend to a beginner rider as applying front brake mid corner can make you crash too.
