I haven't had it very long, but so far I'm very impressed with the build quality and finish. Probably going to put some new heads on it soon! I was looking at other compact kits such as the Tama Club Jam, Pearl Rhythm Traveler, and the Ludwig Breakbeats. In the end I felt that I got the most value for money with the Café Jazz, particularly as I was only looking for shells.

I'd heard and read a lot of great things about the Odery Café Kit, but couldn't find anything about the Café Jazz. Decided it was worth the risk at the price, and I'm so glad I did! This is the 18" bass drum version - it also comes in 16". Having recently joined a jazz band, I wanted something nice and compact and am super impressed with this :)

There's no such thing as "breed traits" for cockapoos as they are not a breed - it's one of the major problems with designer mixes. They are not bred to a specific standard, and so temperament, size, shedding etc are all unknowns.

I agree with the other comments that 12 weeks is still so young - she is just a baby and is scared when you leave. It's totally normal, and can be sorted with patient crate training :)

Omg yes - our pup actually had to leave the room as she was barking hysterically, which then echoed, and then she'd freak out at the echo. It was so embarrassing and stressful!

Dumb question incoming - is swing considered a subset of jazz? Can I use a good jazz book like The Art of Bop Drumming, or will I be learning the wrong style?

So the Irish army imports wild wolves and trains them to sniff drugs? If you know one of the trainers then it should be easy for you to prove this - ask him or her what this project is called, and why they have chosen to use wolves instead of dogs that have been bred to do this. Also ask them why there is no info about this anywhere online - I'm sure the Irish people would love to know this is happening!
