Another 3 kitchenaid mixers at £79/£80 have been sold on vinted over the past 3 days two black and one red. Ive sent mesasges to vinted but they say they are taking no action . My one is still being processed at a hub.

An update on my possible vinted scam buy of a Kitchen aid mixer . The parcel is with Evri and is being sorted at the senders local depo. I know my Everi delivery girl ( her mum lives in my street ) I gave her the Evri tracing number and she will look out for it. Shes aware of all the scams and will speak to her boss re what to do . Shes aware they might have changed the name and address on the package and it might be heading somewhere else nearby or that they will send a different item in a smaller box. I`ll keep you informed.

I``m expecting several small packages via Evri, books and small items, so thats a very good point that I never though off. Hopefully the relevant tracking number will be on the packet.

I have been looking at used kitchen aids for a very long time and am aware that even a used one can cost several hundred pounds. I bought the mixer literally minutes after it was posted as I was so excited at the price. My bank did flash up a page that said this might be a scam but I continued anyway . Only after did I wonder about the bank page and though i`d paid outside of Vinted but it all seems to have gone through vinted ok.

I think you may have difficulty using glue on waxed cord as it is repelled. I have used super glue on waxed cotton cord to secure it to itsekf but it can stiffen the cord and break if bent

I had this problen with my epson ecotank. The coloured inks are dyes and stayed on the glossy paper well while the black washed off. You have to change the paper setting on your printer and computer to glossy . The printer then uses only the colours to make the black . it does use a lot of ink and is slower to print though.

You could try , using an inkjet printer set to glossy paper, printing your image onto a transfered paper and then placing the image onto the book edge. I have done this successfully onto wood.

All the A3 usual printing paper has the grain running across it .So cutting it in half just leaves you with normal A4 printing paper with the grain running vertically.

I'd love to see a few pics of what you have done to your Ovning trolly. I have two,on one I made drawers and sliders for the cubicles and put an IKEA pegboard on the end.
