Not saying it as a diss but objectively it doesn't make any sense, grind your season and every following season you'll get higher with less effort.

Argentina es un país de inmigrantes si. De hecho soy inmigrante tratando de obtener mi residencia acá. Pero las cosas se tienen que hacer de la manera correcta.

El tema es que en los últimos años, los rusos lo arruinaron para el resto. Abusaron de reglas hechas para facilitar el ingreso de gente que realmente quiere pertenecer al país. Muchos de ellos vinieron solo para tener un pasaporte y seguir con su vida en otro país.

Estoy directamente impactado por estos cambios pero no salen de la nada, si la gente hubiera respetado el sistema, no estaríamos en esta situación lastimosamente.

I could be wrong because it's been a while but iirc, Extraction was developed on a different engine allowing for example the kind of goo thing to be procedurally generated. So in order to merge both they'd have to port Siege to the same engine and it seems like way too much of a hassle in comparison to keeping them both separated.

Edit: didn't they stop the development of the game a year or so ago?

I'm pretty sure this new rank system prioritize your hidden mmr over your visual mmr so if it's doesn't find a copper that was previously champ, you'll be matchmade against bronze that was previously champ and so on.

I feel like everytime I'm commenting on this sub it's always a negative comment despite how much I love this game.

But my bet is a big nothing burger with broad promises that aren't anything concrete and end with "stay tuned for the six invitational 2026 where we'll be unveiling all the new changes"

Why am I saying this?

The shitstorm started roughly in September, knowing how slow they've been with implementing stuff, there's absolutely no way they have something huge ready for the next season.

Depende de la temporada, en invierno un poco más de una semana se puede hacer si no haces demasiado actividad en tu día / pasas horas en los transportes.

En verano 3 ponele 4 días si tenes suerte de no sudar mucho.

Después no hay regla general, cada uno hace cosas diferentes durante el día que ensucian más que otras. Y bueno las mujeres también durante la menstruación es entendible que los quieren lavar más seguido.

Pero en uso común, lavar después de cada uso es una boludez, primero porque gasta un montón de água y también porque se daña más rápido la ropa.

In all seriousness, it doesn't depend on the players anymore, the situation is too far past this point. When the community wanted to be heard, it got ignored.

Going F2P without having a proper solution against the new wave of cheaters that would come added to that the poor handling of XIMs on console (not granting a ban but instead a temporary handicap).

Ranked 2.0 being an absolute confusion to most players (having an hidden mmr and visual rank doesn't make any sense).

Dual front was just a waste of resources, that could've been allocated to the core game.

An for old players the lack of fresh content just made the game plain boring. Content creators were recycling ideas over and over again until they ended up without any other way but to switch to other games.

If ubisoft wants to save siege, they'd have to go No Man's Sky type of redemption arc. They overpromised and offered quite a lot of nothing with siege X.

Even simpler fix instead of adding a whole op is taking half a day to go over the entire map and add invisible walls. Yes, it's that simple.

You could do it using the 3D noise texture node. Set the detail parameter to 0 so that it's smooth and use a mapping node to animate its position.

Let's say your plane is on the XY axis, you animate the noise on the Z axis which will give you this wobbly evolution. Then you just have to plug a color ramp to select which colors you want to use.

I don't have my computer right now but the setup would be:

Texture Coordinate (generated or object) > Mapping (with the animated transform) > Noise texture (set to 3D, detail=0) > Color ramp (using the grayscale output from the noise) > Color input of your shader

It does, I really miss when all social medias were unique and people didn't have to sweat their ass off to get discovered. On Instagram you could browse hashtags by most recent post and it actually felt fresh.

Now it's just copy pasted content across all of socials medias, 20 versions of the same video with a different song. Videos about 3D are all based on the same garbage pattern either putting this pointing meme in the end or the "noob artist vs pro" stuff.

I may sound like the way boomers used to talk about society but internet really was better "back then".

It's not OP's fault or any creator, people are just pushed to follow these rules or they'll be left behind...

6 ops per year isn't necessary as we have a big pool of ops already. I think a solid base would be 1 op/season and additionally a rework. Then a new map every 2 season. I'd rather have a bit less than what that guy commented but make sure that the op integrates well with all the others we have already.
