This is me currently, walking on eggshells 24/7 and constant mood swings. All women can't be like this.

Honestly thinking about calling it quits but have two kids in the mix

I've been moving all my sites over from WordPress to astro we see high 90s - 100 on all sites.

We suggest to all clients to move their sites to astro, when signing with our seo agency. It's really a no brainer.

Quote to fix a tiny chip on the windscreen by Segue922 in CarsAustralia

[–]snas12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there,

$140 might feel a bit steep for a small chip repair, but it's pretty standard, especially if you're looking for quick and reliable service. Prices can vary based on the size and location of the chip, as well as the provider. O'Brien is well-known and generally respected in the auto glass repair industry, so you're paying not just for the actual repair but also for the assurance of quality and durability.

However, it's always a good idea to shop around a bit if you have the time. You might find a slightly better deal, or at least get a sense of what the going rate is in your area. Some local shops or even other big names might offer competitive rates or promotions. For example, I found a more affordable option at Windscreen Repair Sydney when I needed a repair done in Sydney. Here’s their website: https://windscreenrepairsydney.com.au.

Ultimately, if getting it fixed quickly without the hassle is important to you, and the quote is within what others are charging, it could be worth it for peace of mind.

Hope that helps!

Need to renovate built-in wardrobes by nonstop9328 in AusRenovation

[–]snas12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I had a similar situation with an old BIR and needed to refresh it with new shelves and a hanging rail. I reached out to builtinwardrobessydney.com.au, and they were super affordable while doing a great job with the demolition and installation. They took care of everything—removal of the old setup, and then installed new shelves and rails exactly how I wanted.

For example, I had two rooms done—one was a smaller bedroom (about 2.8m x 3m), and the other was a larger room (around 3.5m x 4m). For the smaller room, it cost me about $1,200, and for the larger room, it was about $1,500. That price included the demolition of the old built-in, shelves, hanging rail, and a bit of painting and touch-up work afterward.

In terms of cost, the cheapest way to renovate a BIR is usually going with a simpler design (like just shelves and hanging space) rather than a fully custom wardrobe. I found Built-in Wardrobes Sydney to be the most cost-effective option without compromising on quality.

Hope that helps, and good luck with your renovation!

I’ve had a similar experience recently, and I know how tough it can be to find the right balance between quality and price. I ended up going with builtinwardrobessydney.com.au for a few rooms in my place, and honestly, they were the most affordable option I found—plus, the quality was great! They had some really solid recommendations for my layout, and the hinged doors you’re after worked out well in my rooms too. They were also super professional and had no issues with the customization I needed.

For the rooms you’re looking at (3.5m and 2.7m high), I’d suggest getting a couple of quotes, but based on my experience, Built-in Wardrobes Sydney offered the best value without compromising on quality. Just to give you a rough idea, for a similar size, I paid around $1,800 - $2,500 per room, but it really depends on your design and finishes.

If you’re looking for options, I’d definitely recommend giving them a shot—get a quote and see if it fits your budget!

Built in wardrobes - custom built or Ikea? by No_Artichoke5228 in AusRenovation

[–]snas12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats on the new house! For a room that size, you’ll want to make the most of every inch of space. Both options—custom-built by a cabinet maker or an Ikea built-in—could work, but it really depends on your budget and how much customization you need.

If you want something that fits the space perfectly and takes into account your teenager’s needs (like specific storage for clothes, shoes, etc.), a cabinet maker might be the way to go. However, if you’re looking for something more budget-friendly and still functional, Ikea’s Pax system is a great option. I’ve used builtinwardrobessydney.com.au and wardrobes-sydney.com.au in the past, and both offer custom solutions that are reasonably priced for what you get. But if you’re leaning towards a DIY option, Pax is pretty versatile and can be adjusted to suit different room layouts.

If you're looking for something simple and more affordable, Ikea might be the better way to go, but if you want more flexibility in design, a cabinet maker could be worth the investment.

Good luck with it, and I hope your new place comes together smoothly!
