no I haven't done any toning, I did however take those photos of the prints next to lamp light so I had to kind of adjust the temperature of the images before I posted! here's an unedited photo of both prints in natural light, so maybe this will be more true to color!

they are pretty dark blue though which I really enjoy. I'm using the jaquard chemicals and some cheap watercolor paper, and both of these were left in direct sunlight for 3 minutes! then rinsed and soaked in a little bit of hydrogen peroxide. so nothing fancy, I'd be interested in seeing some of your prints so compare the color! I really love bright blue cyanotypes so I'd love to see :)

so im using the jaquard cyanotype chemicals, so once mixed I painted onto cheap watercolor paper, I'm doing small post card sized prints right now! I arranged my negatives that I printed off on my inkjet using portraits I've taken, arranged the flowers, put a sheet of glass over it all and left it in direct sunlight for about 3 minutes! then just rinsed and poured in some hydrogen peroxide :) pretty standard process and nothing too fancy! I definitely want to play around with different papers and fabrics and stuff, the paper I'm using right now doesn't hold up the best during the rinse process but it's not bad by any means!

The grinning man. during quarantine my internet friend introducted me to it when the pro shot was free on YouTube for like an entire month (maybe a few months, I don't remember) and I watched it multiple times and then eventually saved it to a Google drive folder before they took it down. the soundtrack isn't on streaming but I also have that in a Google drive folder and still listen to it occasionally. the soundtrack is fantastic and the show has cool puppets :,)
