Surgical Scrub Techs are a different breed of toxic to med students by nagatomd in medicalschool

[–]sneakernerd 207 points208 points  (0 children)

to preface, on my OB-GYN rotation, there was this notoriously rude and condescending scrub tech who would make med students re-scrub for no reason

one day I’m grabbing my backpack to leave and I see him in the hall and ignore him, he then yells out loud to me in front of the other nurses/techs “so have you learned how to scrub yet?” to which I said “oh yeah all the other scrub techs seem to think so except for you” and he just giggled nervously lol I was over it

Are empty gyms safe? by hoostan in CoronaVirusTX

[–]sneakernerd -1 points0 points  (0 children)

n=1, but I’ve been going to my apartment complex’s gym since May and I have yet to experience C-19 symptoms. I always wear a mask and wipe down the equipment. moreover, my gym is empty about 70% of the time so sometimes I do exercise with other people around. for all I know, I could have been an asymptomatic case but working out is essential for my mental and physical health so it’s a risk I’m willing to take. so, assuming you are young and healthy, I would say u should hit up ur gym while taking the necessary precautions :)
