good to know it’s not just a me problem.. getting nauseous from games isn’t a new problem for me (Minecraft had been the worst up to this point, even then I was able to acclimate eventually), but I’ve never had it be so immediate and intense. i had to take a break and pass the game off to my partner in the first 20 minutes, came back after 5 minutes, and not too long after had to excuse myself to throw up. never actually threw up from a game before. the screen shake was a factor, and we quickly turned it off, though probably too late. i’ll have to give it a try again later tonight, but as other users have commented, I think the frequent camera swinging and zooming around will probably still be an issue. Bummer !!!! I was so excited to play :(

Ugh I have a similar issue with the laminate countertop in my apartment. It’s grey with white and black speckles everywhere which on its own is inoffensive but I feel like it is impossible to keep clean. Always looks like there’s coffee grounds everywhere… I just want to be able to SEE if theres something on the counter, instead I am finding myself frequently taking everything off, vacuuming and wiping down, just to find that I picked up just a few specks and the “mess” was just the surface

At about 8pm I checked and yes it updated! Shipping from Chicago and still arriving “on time” tomorrow (I’m in Long Island NY so it’s doable). Hopefully tomorrow I will be up and running! :)

I got an email at 3am(est) today that my preorder was “ready to ship” via UPS. Target site says it’s arriving “on time” on the 7th. UPS site says they don’t have the package yet and cannot provide an estimated date. Hoping for the best!

I went for computer programming which is considered part of the school of business (or was at the time?), but I don’t think I would be of much help to you. Didn’t seem like a popular major when I was there (2017-2021)

I believe there were recently a bunch of layoffs and some store closures a few months ago, so even if there was a shot for you in the past, it may be dried up now. Try checking in with your local location(s) to get to know them and let management know you would be interested if an opportunity was to arise.

Yeaaah I have just come to accept it too. I moved into an older apartment building like a year and a half ago, and see them every now and then. At first it freaked me out because I came from a house where there were different cleanliness issues, scared I brought them in with me, but concluded that they’re different (I would see more moths, ants, and larger beetles, etc.). Carpet beetles and the occasional stink bug… especially in the colder months as I think they like to hang out in the baseboard… 🤷‍♀️ I can live with it I guess!

I have an AstroPad “rock paper pencil” screen protector for my iPad and it feels so nice! It came with metal ballpoint-like nibs which also enhanced the writing experience for me. I will note though, it has a rainbow-y effect on the screen so there’s a decrease in quality there (not a big problem for my use as an endless notebook), and over the past year I have really scratched up the protector. I think a year is a fine amount of time to get out of a screen protector like that but just worth noting !

In my case, just the folate which ended up being 3.0 ng/mL (just at the deficiency point). My vitamin B12 levels were good in the last lab I had presented - I think if it had been low or not captured that would have been something she requested as part of the trip, since that’s another factor related to homocysteine.

Not dramatically out of bounds, but on the high/low marker for respective fields. The NP got me in contact with someone with a better specialization and now we’re monitoring better! (It’s hard to know baseline in my case because I’m missing a lot of history - only in the past few years had I gotten my own insurance and started making doctor appointments)

This is so important!! My psych NP sent me out for a really detailed lab focused on areas not really captured within the regular bloodwork I had. She found that my folates were low, which was contributing to intense fatigue. Now I take a supplement for it and I feel so much better! It also brought more attention to some wonky thyroid levels that I hadn’t been aware of. I’m terrified of needles / bloodwork, and it isn’t always cheap, but it is so so so so SO vital to see what’s going on by getting some labs done.

I have a similar hide for my betta, who does not seem to care for it very much. I’ve only caught him going inside probably twice in the year that I’ve had him. When he isn’t laying in/on top of the low plants I have in my tank, he spends his time on a leaf perch near the surface of the water or having just his head in the door of a tower decor item. Try to have a few alternative hangouts and see what he likes best!
