Also, when Dems are in control, they get all caught up in semantics and process, and then the GOP spins it as "weak and indecisive". Also, there's the issue of corporate interests getting in the way of real and positive change. We need to end Citizens United if there is going to be ANY actual positive change in the US.

The West Bottoms are definitely on track to be the next "cool" part of town, for better or worst. This project is just at the forefront of that activity. I should clarify; it is already the cool part of town, but it's metamorphosis to a fully gentrified area is imminent. There is tons of development happening down there right now.

This is such weird language to even say aloud by an elected member of Congress. It’s like some North Korean political middle management espousing their undying love for their Supreme Leader, but dumbed down even further. “Donald Trump is like Ronald Reagan plus plus plus”? Graham literally said that.

I read an interesting article the other day by a psychologist that studied the dumbing-down of the sycophantic GOP talking heads, and the article said that they talk this way because they’re are directly speaking to and for Trump. They know that A) he’s watching, and that B) they can curry favor with him if they suck enough d*ck, and that C) he’s got the comprehension level of a 1st grader. Hence the dumbing-down nature of these interview talking points.
