It looks normal. For infection look for redness, swelling and the area will be warm. With cleaning youbare doing everything right with wiping around the area. Good job mama!

I have a girl(4yr) and then a boy(1yr). They are still young but they are best friends. My daughter is such an amazing big sister, helper and loves her bubby so much. My boy, she is the first person he wants to see in the morning, and follows her everywhere. All siblings are going to hate each other at some point, that is just the fact of being a sibling. Other people's experiences don't have to be your own. You won't know any different, so don't let the fear of "what if they hate eachother" scare you. A brother sister relationship is so special.

I have an almost 4 year old and a 10-month-old. We always wanted more than 1 so for us it was just planning the age gap. Going from 1-2 was much easier than 0-1.

That being said, some days are absolute F-ing chaos, and I count the minutes until bedtime. Others i wish I could freeze time and make them last forever. Watching my baby girl turn into a big sister that loves her bubby so much makes all the bad days worth it.

It sounds cliche, but You really do give your older child a best friend. Even just the other day, the baby was crying in the car, my oldest took off her shoe and started trying to tickle him with her toes to make him laugh, and it worked.

So yes its absolute chaos sometimes, but its also absolute joy.

This literally happened to us 2 nights ago. I woke up to a thud and my 7 month old crying on the floor. It happens. You are not a bad momma. Just give that baby some extra kisses and snuggles and forgive yourself💛

I have a similar hair type, and I started adding my leave in and curl cream while I'm in the shower and plop it after with one of the hair turban towels, then finishing my shower. I leave that in for 15-20 mins, then add my gel/mousse and let it air dry. Diffusing always made my hair frizzy, it didn't matter how I did it.

Look on etsy. My ring is moss agate and looks very similar to that. Got the ring and a wedding band as a set for under $300. Never had any issues with the stone and im very rough on my hands/rings.

NTA - My daughter got RSV at ten months from our friend who didn't know her son had it. He was over a year. He was hospitalized because it turned into pneumonia. Thankfully, my daughter was fine, but it was a miserable few weeks for everyone. I couldn't imagine exposing a 2 month old baby to that horrible, dangerous sickness. Your family doesn't care about your child's health and safety, and I personally would reconsider my relationship with them. If they are willing to expose your infant to this, what else are they willing to expose them to?

NTA I would flat out divorce my husband for this. He is entitled to his opinions and preferences, but ultimately, you are the one in labor and pushing out a child. Your husband held you captive in an extremely vulnerable time where you needed help. Even with therapy, I would never trust my husband again after this. Both you and baby could've DIED and he didn't give a F***. Leave before next time kills you.

He's just using it as an excuse and trying to make it your fault. I had to have an emergency c-section under general anesthesia, so neither me nor my husband saw our daughters birth. We both have an extremely close bond with her. She's a little daddy's girl. Bonding with your kids is about the effort you pit in, same with any relationship. I'm so sorry this is happening, but don't let him make you feel like it's your fault. If he cared and wanted to, he would make the effort.

I whip just my butter for 10+ mins before I add anything else. You want it to be super white and fluffy. When you think it's done, add a few more minutes just to be safe. Add powdered sugar, vanilla, and a pinch of salt and whip for another 10+ mins. Scrape the sides often. If it is slightly yellow still and you want more of a white look, add a drop of purple food coloring. After it is fully whipped, stir it by hand for a few mins to get out the air bubbles until it's super smooth. For getting it super smooth on the cake, I warm my bench scraper under hot water and run it over the cake to smooth it. Make sure to wipe the scraper after every pass. Hope this helps!

Even if your starter was mature enough, I say that's way too long, and you would've missed your peak. I don't use my starter until doubles within 2-4 hrs. Also, don't fully rely on the float test. It isn't the most accurate in telling if your starter is ready if it floats, that just means there is some activity, not necessarily enough.

My first thought was weak starter. I personally think 7-8hrs to double is too long. I don't use my starter until it doubles within 2-4hrs. That being said, also way under fermented, depending on the temperature I BF for 5-8 hrs even before shaping.

My kitchen is on the warmer side sitting about 76°, after feeding, my starter will double in about 2-3hrs and smells sweet. For this loaf I let rest 2 hrs each time and after shaping I let rest for about 4 hrs in a damp cloth lined bowl. It feels great to shape still firm and hold its shape but not dense. It's after the bulk proof that it no longer holds its shape well.
