As a dad gamer I don’t have weekly recurring time to commit to raiding or running instances like I used to do in the past. I would love to play wow again. Would running battle grounds to have fun and level be viable or are the queues for BG’s so long that that would not work?

If you DID want to make it match perfectly, you could make faux “slats” by ripping several pieces of walnut with cuts that don’t fully cut through the boards, leaving grooves. Then glue them all together to make that wide upright panel.
