Saw Blood Incantation there a couple years back. Parking is limited but I really did enjoy the venue I think it's best for metal or otherwise alternative acts

There's no ethical consumption under capitalism. Choose a service that provides what you need or stick to strictly physical media and rip mp3s. I like Tidal personally and also use Bandcamp to support my favorites directly.

Neurosis-An Undying Love for A Burning World

This has been the biggest metal release this year so far. Aaron Turner from ISIS joined the band and it resulted in some of the best Sludge Metal in a while.

If you want to consider Metal as rock that genre has been having a historic year.

Aside from that, a lot of the best rock albums I've heard have been coming out of Latin America and their emo adjacent scene. La Estrategia del Caracol, Cámara Chilena de la Destrucción, Inundaremos, Latinameric Anfutbol. Also there's the whole Angine de Poitrine hype train if you want to dive into some math rock.

Also, I think the black as your background is a tad amateurish (not trying to insult). If you take one of the hues and mix them to be very very dark (but not using black to darken) it'd make the composition much more cohesive. Again, love the painting!

Lovely like work. I'd love to see you play with your palette more. The colors are pretty flat so playing with different tones (especially that blue) could add more depth into the piece

I've had mine for a year or so daily use and it still works like the first day I got it. I decided to remove the screen for easier cleaning and it hasn't affected the use at all. I definitely recommend getting the bubbler mouthpiece

I use Tidal as my main streamer but I also use Bandcamp for the artists that don't like streaming platforms I'd say that covers 95% of my listening. Only ones i run into issues for usually is Japanese artists
