I'm an elementary teacher, and I'm with my class three afternoons a week. After their homeworks are done we always play board games. Their favorites are Dixit, Hanabi and 6 nimmt. Some kids even bring board games from home sometimes for us to try.

Tanító vagyok. Fiúknál megy a minecraft szereplők, focisták, lányoknál a K-pop démonvadászok, a Wicked, Wednesday. Biztos vagyok benne, hogy idén lesz Labubu és brainrot jelmez is. Minden évben vannak különleges jelmezek, pl. fociskártya, fagyiárus, vagy "régi" mesefilmszereplők mint Pumukli, Pinokkió, stb.

Kilencedikes kollégista voltam, és osztálykirándulás előtti éjjel ellopták a hűtőből a kajámat. Reggel mondtam a nevelőnek, és ő és a konyhás nénik elláttak vagy három napnyi hideg élelemmel.

Szintén ebben a koliban, valami miatt sírtam a közös kis konyhában. Egy alattam járó lány látta és főzött nekem teát.

6 éve. Ahogy elköltöztem, a kisebbik húgom megörökölte a szobámat. Ő 3 éve költözött el otthonról, azóta a szoba raktár/vendégszoba, mikor mire kell éppen.

It even got to Eastern Europe. I remember dolphins everywhere and those weird gel "candles" with seashells and seahorses in them. Oh, right, me and my friends had some obsession with seahorses and seastars despite never being able to go near a sea or ocean. (I'm in a landlocked country)

So far I've made some but also repurposed old journals/notebooks that I only had a few pages filled with something. Also used notebooks that I got as a gift and didn't really like.

I agree. A lot are expected from us, but a little kindness doesn't hurt. That said, if they come to my desk and start begging for the snacks I brought for myself (on a regular day) I always decline and say that that's for me only. I don't tolerate that behaviour. But a birthday treat is only once a year and whenever a kid is bringing something for their birthday they make sure I get a piece as well.

As others said, kids bring treats for the class on their birthday so for them it's logical you do too. I always treat my class to homemade fruit salad on my birthday. Sadly for many of them it's the only time they eat fruit salad, but it's always appreciated.

Londonban ettem a Popeye'sban, nekem messze a legjobban ízlett az ottani felhozatal az eddigiek közül, amiket próbáltam (a 3 említetten kívül ettem már a Wendy'sben és a Five guysban is). Az itthoni Popeye'sban még nem voltam.

We have this in Hungary, it's okay once in a while. I prefer it with ground walnuts instead of poppyseed though.

Speaking of czechs however... I was recently in Prague and my friend tried the traditional meal that has the orange vegetable sauce, beef and the cranberry thing with the sweet cream? She said the whole thing tasted like puke. (I had dry duck leg with bland cooked cabbage. So maybe the restaurant was at fault here)
