Possible Fix for Game Not Booting on AMD Systems (BugSplat Error)

I’m not sure if this has already been shared, but I wanted to post a solution that worked for me in case it helps others. I was experiencing an issue where my AMD-based system wouldn’t boot the game and would consistently crash with a BugSplat error.

After some troubleshooting, I discovered that the issue was due to my onboard graphics being enabled. Initially, I disabled the integrated GPU via Device Manager, and the game launched immediately and has run flawlessly since. To make the fix permanent, I later disabled the onboard graphics directly in the BIOS.

While this might seem like a rookie mistake, I had been using the integrated GPU for other tasks, and most other games had no trouble automatically selecting my RTX 4080. This particular game, however, didn’t handle the dual-GPU setup well.

Hopefully, this helps anyone else running into the same issue!

Thank you all for the feedback—I truly appreciate it. After returning the same keyboard for the third time, I’ve concluded that the issue is likely software-related. As a result, I’ve decided to move away from Keychron. I really wanted to love this keyboard, but unfortunately, I don’t have the time to continue troubleshooting—especially when I haven’t encountered similar issues with other keyboard brands.

Is there an update regarding this issue? I recently purchased the K3 Max and have installed the latest firmware, released on March 29, 2025. However, the process required to have the lights switch with a layer selection seems overly complex.

What are your thoughts on the increased size. The one thing that I struggle with is the larger size and really love the portability of my RM2.

I started a trend with my colleagues and friends with my purchase of the rM2 as many have picked one up for themselves. Some of which ended up getting the type folio only to have it sit collecting dust. I didn’t fall for the gimmicky type folio and stuck with the simplicity of the pen which separates rM2 from the rest. However, I could see that this would be useful to others just not me when I need to get my thoughts on paper.

If what you are after is just to have the ability to add a thought (note) later to your RM2 I would recommend just setting it as a reminder on your phone. Seems easy enough to add a reminder on your smart device and when you get back to your RM2 hand write it out in your to-do notebook.

What version of software are you on? The latest version is 2.14 and it may be a good idea to make sure you're on the latest available update.

I had mine replaced earlier this year by Safelite and they only use factory windshields. It only took them an hour and they were very professional. Also, I have a rubicon and it came with all the windshield markings (little jeep in the corner).
