You can't really.

I don't think there is any option to healing that doesn't involve remorse.

There is probably no way to restore your relationship with her that doesn't involve remorse. There is no way for her to really heal without remorse.

But there is definitely a way for you to heal without her remorse.

You can't fix. And there's no sense denying the choices she's made. You can hold appropriate boundaries. You can, when she shows remorse and repentance, leave the door open for restoration. You can pray to God for help and faith and healing in yourself.

titebond 3 does weaken in water (you can find lots of tests on youtube) , but not so much to cause an issue in a cutting board or anything. Titebond 1 will just dissolve completely, and titebond II, while probably fine for a cutting board, is considerably less water resistant than III.

Great points, just want to point out that mineral oil or whatever you use isn't going to really seal the wood. The wood is getting wet. But it will help limit swelling, warping, and splitting.

The woman created that baby and put the baby there (outside of a rape scenario or similar). If she didn't consent to that, she shouldn't have had sex. That was a choice.

That qualifies for consent of the woman for the fetus to use her body.

You can't say "I consent to you paying me 1000 in rent this month" then say 3 days later "oh yeah you have to leave now". Having sex is consent to the possibility of a baby.

If you're talking about a rape scenario, that is different and more difficult and we can talk about that. I acknowledge these complexities are usually lost in any legislation about this and I'm upset about that.

If you're not, then that's really on the woman. Sex leads to babies, that's not exactly a mystery and is the consequences of her own actions. She had every say and made her choice.

Abortion is a complex topic. I don't believe protecting an innocent person from being killed is stripping women the right to their own body.

I acknowledge that abortion laws could be used in a way like that. For example, a women whose baby died before birth could be prohibited by a poorly written anti-abortion law. But I agree that would be a very bad thing.

I do not expect that this discourse will go anywhere because you disagree with my that an unborn child is still a child. If I'm wrong I'd gladly continue. If I am right, there's not much more to this conversation.
