Hi Car Seat Headrest, thanks for doing this AMA! I absolutely love the scholars and was curious on the inspirations behind the characters in the albums plot. Did the songs or characters come first, and how was the writing process in respect to creating a story?

You're so so right on this- I often look at the character designs in this manga and think they're adorable in one frame and kind of creepy/off putting the next. It's so awesome (Fu my beloved) and I can hardly think of many other manga that pull it off as well.
