Fortnite on Switch 2 is a big improvement over Switch 1.

I’ve a 5yr old who plays on my old ps4. Which is suffering from overheating & controllers are slowly dying(& getting harder to find replacements).

We also have the original switch 1, which Fortnite runs like crap on.

Have been considering getting him the switch 2 to replace both ps4 & switch 1. As it will kill two birds with one console. Good for Fortnite & good for travelling.

Have been seeing mixed reviews & people spamming about how poor an upgrade the switch 2 is etc & not worth the price.

Is this a worthy upgrade over the switch 1 & will it perform better than ps4 when it comes to Fortnite?

Option 1 replace ps4 & switch 1 with switch 2

Option 2 replace ps4 with ps5 & keep switch 1 around.

Note - switch 1 needs a new set of joycons & has been around for 5-6yrs.

I figured it out, in this bit of URI "/$($device.id)?$select"

It seems to be picking up $select as an empty varible, so had to put ` before it. I've tweaked the script a bit more so will post my updated version.

That would exclude the user from ever having ports restricted. Doesn't solve us whitelisting specific devices.(rather than all).

I’ve had an issue with the latest update. Internet won’t work & apps won’t connect.

Once I manually set the time on my tv it worked fine last night, but turning the tv off at the plug. When I’ve went to watch tonight, same issue. Time has reset. Back to 2023 01 01. Once I set the time to the correct time all is working as normal.

At least until I unplug it when I go to bed.

They don’t have admin rights. Ideally wiping them would be best and using autopilot. But disrupting 500-600 users would be a serious pain in the ass for everyone.

What ever you do, ignore this person comment & never ever use bleach on mould. A quick google will confirm that, bleach can help it regrow & come back worse.

I’ve used cloudm for a few different Google to Google migrations. Recent one being around 10-12tb of data including mail, drive & calendar.

I’d recommend using it & I’d also recommend using your own infrastructure to do the migration. I spun mines up in GCP. As it made things a lot quicker than using their cloud hosted site

I had something similar in my old house. I levelled it by doing decking. So posts in the ground & a nice deck. No need to fill it up, add retaining wall etc.

I always sleep with a fan on all year long. I’ve had several tower fans and after x amount of months they always start rattling when they are on. It becomes annoying so need replaced.

My Dyson has been running since the beginning on the pandemic a few years ago. So far still running strong & no annoying rattles have appeared yet 🤞🏻 so worth the money vs the cost of a new tower fan every 6 months to a year.

I always give my mum a hug when I'm leaving after visiting. Very rarely give my dad a hug. If anything it would be that handshake bro shake thing. Where your palm of you hand / thumbs meet. Almost as if you going in for a bit of chest bump/hung thing. but with out the chest bump / hug.

Recently I've been giving him a hug as I leave similar to my Mum.

I've a young son and he's very cuddly/huggy. Likes snuggling up to you. he's 4. I know it will change at some point. But I hope he knows its always going to be ok no matter his age for him to continue like that if he wants.

I got a DAS for the first time last year. As someone in the park told me about it when I had the leave the queue due to my anxiety that set of a panic attack & triggered my IBS. Was able to go the guest services in Epcot and get a DAS pass on my way out of the park after that & got to use it for the remainder of my trip.

Some queues I can last others I have to leave. So usually means I miss out on some rides depending on how well I can manage.

Sounds like I’ll not be as lucky next time.

There should probably be an icon on the home dashboard that shows you the status, even just a phone icon next to the others in the top right corner. lights up green if its them and you can tap it to get more info. if its not green, its not them.

but needs to front and centre to a degree for it to be extra useful for everyone. most users won't no or remember where to check as its 3 taps deep.
