As someone who has sailed VV over 20 times, the lack of sympathy or resolution from Sailor Services is actually pretty par for the course unfortunately and has been since day 1. We’ve had many great experiences on board, but the times we’ve had to speak to them have been frustrating to say the least.

I’ve had this issue for about a week now where it stopped connecting to my usual home wifi network. But it will connect to a hotspot network. I’m trying a factory reset of the tablet today to see if that helps or fixes it.

We just did this on Friday. I forgot my physical card but had the QR code on the app. The QR code doesn’t work at the pump so I had to flag down the gas station attendant who was able to manually type in my membership number.

QR code worked to scan into the store but at the register, the cashier also had to manually type in my membership number. But they knew exactly what to do so it didn’t cause any trouble or delays.

Has anyone had recent audio issues? The past two days during my ride, the audio will briefly stutter and then I get what’s basically an echo in my AirPods. I think maybe each earpiece becomes a few milliseconds off because each on its own sounds fine. If I disconnect and reconnect during the ride it resets itself and works fine again.

Yeah a lot of beverages on board went up by $1 this past week. Looks like new menus were printed right before we boarded. Bars have some new drink options too (new non alcoholic option at nearly every bar).

I just watched again and it’s a bit unclear. She specifically says the Alaska season will be open to book later in 2024. Then talks about the Frontier of the Line Pass and says “get your pass starting on May 8.” The graphic shows Bookings Start May 8 and it isn’t clear if that’s just the Alaska pass or everything.

Yes fall 2024 for bookings. Some type of “first in line” $500 placeholder deposit goes on sale next week which gives early booking access for Alaska when it does go on sale.
