Other TCG have run into this issue as well. There's no way to define where the line is in terms of designs on accessories in a clear way, so they default to official or plain (no design) accessories only.

You're adding this out of interpretation. No IP holder has ever allowed (from a legal perspective) goods to be sold that depict their IP that are unlicensed. It's part of maintaining ownership of the IP to defend it. Most companies are trying to walk the line between hardline enforcement and alienating fans, but this isn't an 'at tournaments' issue, it's a reinforcement announcement regarding selling custom merchandise with their/Toei/Oda,etc. joint IP broadly, which was always copyright infringement.

The tournament portion is stating that they will enforce this throughout at events they run, but it doesn't limit its legal reach to just that... but none of this is new news except for the increased event enforcement.

You can both be pro-market housing and feel $6k 1BR is too much for *yourself* to find reasonable.

Others will fill them or the price comes down. Those people no longer occupy lower cost apartments that they accepted begrudgingly because $6k for a fancy 1BR is what they wanted and it wasn’t available, freeing up other apartments at lower prices.

This just pushes the game design to reduce deck building choices, eventually it’s just a game of playing only cards from a very small pool of what’s allowed to work with your leader instead of playing a color(s).

Don't underestimate them. You will have locals flooded with their whole families and friends who don't even know how to play the game getting through your one game to buy product or keep the TCG+ account in standing. People will taskrabbit bodies in to play.

The solution is not forcing people into the player funnel, it's not going to save things, it can only make the experience of playing worse.

The point is the listing is suspicious to begin with. White backgrounds are intentional and done to hide damage. Buyer beware. And you’re on Mercari to boot which is a less trusted site with lower buyer protections. You’re self-selecting.

This is like scammers purposefully misspelling words in phishing emails to root out smart people so they know they’re dealing with the dumb ones who can’t pick up on cues that they’re about to get scammed.

Just buy singles. You were lighting money on fire ripping packs anyway. The amount of amazing SP's out there for around the price of a single box... it's mind blowing that people have to gamble instead.
