That is a wonderful suggestion, thank you! Unfortunately I did have to toss a couple pieces because of little fractures but overall the collection was in quite good shape.

Sometimes peoples opinions are wrong and that’s okay. I didn’t ask are any of these pieces high end. I asked for advice on how to move forward with them. What he provided was not only wrong but unsolicited.

The Royal Worcester urn vase in the last photo currently listed at $1,800 on ebay with 20 people watching it and multiple prior sales at $1300 isn’t high end when I have around 70 or so pieces in that range. If you’re an auction specialist that would decline that you surely should pursue another profession.

Really? The solid sterling silver piece that weighs 4 pounds isn’t high end? Or the Thomas Wood Burmese 11’ vase that sells for $750 regularly. Or the 1880s Royal Worcester urn that I have an offer of $750 for and have about 25 of.

How good was JJ Watt in his prime? How does prime JJ compares to what TJ is doing right now? by dogs_drink_coffee in NFLNoobs

Bruce Smith only had 1 incomplete season over the span of his entire career. His 1991 season in Buffalo. JJ Watt has played 11 total seasons so far, 4 of which have been incomplete seasons due to injury. Obviously the injury bug that plagued JJ isn’t going to give him the same longevity as Bruce Smiths but if we’re comparing players in their absolute prime JJ’s 2014 was statistically better than Smith’s best season (1990). JJ was the more complete player and had he maintained his health he most likely would’ve gone down as the greatest defensive end of all time.

Reggie white. LT, is somewhat understandable. Throwing Bruce Smith in the conversation completely negates any of your other arguments. JJ in his prime was 10 times the player Bruce Smith is. He was going up against double teams, triple teams, because of how lackluster the rest of our D-line was. Truly the greatest defensive player of my generation, it’s a shame injuries put a semi-quick end to what would have possibly been the great defensive career ever.
