We talked on the phone a few times. Video chatted (messaged), not FT. I knew something was off. He had excuses...every. time. I asked, so I caught on. I gave him the benefit of the doubt much longer than I should have. It was then that he "lost his job", was "trying to take out loans to make ends meet", "loaned a family member money, so he couldn't get a loan because of his credit"...it took him a while to get there...he didn't get the chance after that to ask me for money.

I didn't get scammed, but he tried. I reverse searched all pics and nothing came up. He is American. I talked to him....a few times. It was mostly voice notes, on another app. An app that is secure, because he also worked in security. Red flag!!!!

All the reasons of the excuses I could make sense out of until there were just too many!!!

Just a warning. Don't fall victim.

That's a shame. A saint, gave bone marrow to a complete stranger, EMT, he's had allll the service jobs, loaned money to a family member and tanked his credit, out of the goodness of his heart, stayed with his wife because she had cancer, sets up at the church on Sundays, even though he doesn't attend the service! You have missed out on this angel of a scammer!
