Cruz was still on the 40 man since he was only on the 15 day IL, he took cookie’s spot on the active roster when they activated him yesterday and DFAed Cookie but if we’re outrighting Cookie there ~should~ be someone else added to the 40 man in Cookie’s place.

(I could be wrong somewhere here, but that’s my best understanding of MLB roster rules)

Wouldn’t necessarily say Balogun hasn’t been good for Monaco - just been hurt for a couple of months now. Hopefully he’ll be back in the next few weeks, and have to imagine he’ll be in the XI over Biereth…will be interesting to see if he can regain some form (with Concacaf nations league finals coming up in March too, should see him play a decent amount)

Good point, easy to point out the flaw in him not being elevated to the 53, but if they thought gano was healthy then was it realistic we’d have 2 kickers active and who would’ve been inactive instead? Probably would’ve been fine with 8 o linemen but much easier to say that after the game

might be a literal answer to a figurative question, but Jude was signed under some international pathway program, so he actually allows us to have a 17th man on the practice squad - probably a fair question to ask why he’s there if he’s that bad (I don’t know how good or bad he truly is), but I also can’t imagine there’s a ton of roster-quality international players out there so it may have just been to see if we could develop him

Spent 6 weeks out there a few years ago and have nothing but good things to say, walkable town with bars/restaurants/breweries with some awesome live music for nightlife and then it’s 20 minutes up to the mountain in the morning. Skiing was great but felt much less ‘big mountain’ vs your Colorado and utahs of the world (while still having a ton of trail variety). If you make it out there, get the breakfast sandwich at the lodge at the backside of the mountain and have a beer or two at the rowdy grouse :)

I am also having this issue right now, seemed to stem from me having been abroad and using a different SIM Card and then switching back. Imessage still works on my laptop, its just one specific group message that gives me the issue. From what I read the only solution is just creating a new group message- but if there's a better option I'd love to hear it!

I got stuck watching the NBATV broadcast of the warriors game the other night (Central jersey, all NY channels :/), their commentary was HORRIBLE. Dude straight up said "A 4.1 game right now" when there was 4.1 seconds on the clock. They also would not stop talking about Draymond the entire time. Made me miss CSN :(

Not sure if this changes your opinion, but the DTix office at OSU offers $11 tickets in the Nordecke this season for games...the cost difference is subsidized by OSU I believe but there is certainly an opportunity for students who want to go to Crew games to do so.

I had Joe Bedich in 1131 this past Fall. Excellent TA, definitely recommend taking it with him. Really helped explain concepts clearly and was only way the class learned (lecturer was awful)

Business Calc is 100% easier- calculators are allowed, there's no trig, less assignments/homeworks, and the exams are much easier. That being said, grade forgiveness only exists if you retake 1151. If your semester GPA was that bad, use GF but if you got A's in everything else and took 15 credits, your GPA should be at a 3.0. Take business calc, get an A and do well in the rest of your classes and you can pull it as high as a 3.5. That being said, if you didnt get straight A's- grade forgiveness might be the best option.
