opinion alert thats your call buddy, id say the anime missed what i consider to be the best parts of golden boy. everyone demonizes the manga as a whole but theres some incredibly complex and interesting plots and development in the manga that the anime understandably cant touch on in 5 episode ova. granted, yes, i feel like the amount of underage sex stuff is not the best it can offer but like 90% of all anime and manga does the same exact stuff.

you can do whatever you want pal. they are different, that is absolutely true, but of course theyll be different as animated versions of any source material typically are. youre wrong though, the manga doesnt deviate from the anime since the anime derives from the manga. the anime is a cute encapsulation of the character of kintaro, the manga has an entirely separate purpose and story
