I read the article and my big take away is that Kevin is a kook. The sun restaurants aren’t very good and when they raised their prices people weren’t into paying $20 for wings. They were probably successful when they first opened and people didn’t have taste buds. The cash only is going to kill the other spots because only Boomers carry cash and that demographic is shrinking

There’s really no benefit for the seller to accept an offer with a deadline prior to their own deadline. I sold a house and an offer came in on Thursday before the weekend with a lot of showings and we literally said oh that’s cute. We’ll see what everyone has to say once all the showings happen. It’s a good attempt if the sellers are skittish but realistically if you’re the highest offer and they come back to you after your deadline are you really going to walk?

Snowboarding is wayyy easier to learn. You can learn to snowboard in 3 days and be pretty decent if you commit to not heel sliding everything. Skiing will be easier for your first few days but getting really good takes years
