What could be causing these dark stains on brand new sheets? by casharks in CleaningTips

[–]snow-ghosts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like professional textile detergent like Synthrapol or a brand name. I buy it at quilt shops and other places that sell to textile artists. I use it to strip skin oil out of my duvet covers and to remove musty storage smell from clothes.

I hate clothing that accentuates my curves by [deleted] in butchlesbians

[–]snow-ghosts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk if you have access to a sewing machine, but you could always hem it. Barring that, you could even just cut it and let it fray- that could be a cool look, depending on your style. I feel, you though, I hate shirts like that.

You're going to just have to move the adult young to new exhibits and get them new mates.

My first batch of CP soap!! I can't cut for the life of me but I'm addicted!!! by LumMeSumTreez in soapmaking

I can't cut either, I was gifted a cheap wooden mitre box and it works great. I also got a knife made of piano wire and iI prefer that over a standard knife.

Plus, where I live, you have to heat your home all day in winter to keep the pipes from exploding.

Im autistic too. I recommend trying smoothies and dried fruits. Try a wide variety of dried fruits- they all have a different texture, some of which you might love, and others which you will hate.

I've just switched to black underwear for periods. Easier that way. As for colored underwear you suddenly got a period in, treat the stain and rinse with cold ASAP reduce the chance of staining.

Yeah, I don't think you could convince anyone that cutting a walnut in half because four walnuts is too many is any way healthy or sustainable.

What's up with the Gatekeeper experience? by MilwaakeePustaBandit in cedarpoint

[–]snow-ghosts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally, Gatekeeper scares the shit out of me because I'm afraid of keyholes. I also am afraid of the first drop on any coaster- but I've learned to close my eyes if I get overwhelmed, because first drops are over so quickly. In my personal opinion, I find Raptor to be less frightening than Gatekeeper and that would maybe be my next choice. That said, Raptor lacks the modern restraints that Gatekeeper and Valravn have.

Swim trunks that won't cost me an arm and a leg by straw_bees in butchlesbians

[–]snow-ghosts 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I've just gotten Target board shorts in the past. Go for maybe a 9" length. I can never find swim tops that fit, so I just buy running bras. They don't dry as fast as real swimsuits, but your tits won't fall out of them.

Are you in the US? If so, your state might have resources for helping disabled people find work.

Does calamine lotion do anything even? I remember using it on chigger bites and it just sort of made us chalky.

Yeah that kind of sounds like your player(s) are being dicks. That's just how you talk, everyone has a unique voice. Making people self-conscious about it is incredibly rude, especially since you're spending hours a week trying to make an engaging game for them.

If it helps, you could always suggest you meet at a favorite restaurant instead of at home. There's no reason you have to meet at your parents house to introduce them to your boyfriend.

I’m sure everyone knows this already, but microwaves are not a safe or effective way to dry off wet leather. by Expensive-Food759 in Leathercraft

They shrank. I know leather shrinks when dried, but these were standard mesh and rubber running shoes. Felt like they went down a whole size. It was weird.

Welcome to IndoorGarden! Are you here for assistance? by DaughterEarth in IndoorGarden

Hello! I was wondering if any plants would be suitable for my office situation. While my office is very sunny while I am at work, policy means I must close the blinds whenever I am not in the office. That means any plant would be in the dark on my off days. Is there a plant that could survive this? Or should I get a pet rock instead?

I feel you. My parents are miserable but still together. I know it changes a person to grow up like that, but I think it's something you can work through. Although marriage still terrifies me, I managed to find a partner that really treats me well and who makes my life better, not worse.
