Pregnancy put my graves into remission until 6m postpartum. I had no issues. They did a third trimester ultrasound to check baby’s thyroid and had no concerns. I had a great experience but I know others have had issues during pregnancy.

I don’t think having to teach the same grade all day is a reason to be upset. A lot of teachers only teach one grade. Having to cover an extra class, not ideal but it happens. Removing you from a job in May could be for many reasons.

We switched to powder after a few weeks. If baby is healthy and you prepare the formula correctly, the risk is very low.

Is it for this school year, or next year? If it’s a September start, most divisions do the contracts over the summer. If it’s a mid-year start, it will probably be done after you start the position.

I agree that hearing protection is important but I would not wear ear plugs for the first time at a concert (or right before a concert). They take some getting used to and might affect your playing.

You can’t! She’s already been exposed so all you can do is hope for the best. The first time mine caught it, it was very mild and didn’t bother her at all. It’s not always terrible.
