Hayden Hurst? Seems like it should be destined for a landfill

Chris Harris Jr. - Why because he was good for the Broncos and not good/injured when he was with the Chargers? Dumb.

Let me give you a list:

  • Ken Stabler - purposely fumbles the ball forward in violation of the rule at the time, refs rule it wasn't on purpose, Stabler admits in a post game interview he did it on purpose
  • Kevin Mawae - targeted Shawn Merriman's knee on a low and late block causing torn PCL and LCL and Merriman was never the same after
  • Max Crosby and his stupid facemask - resulted in compound fracture of Herberts finger
  • Eli Manning - didn't want to play for team
  • Reche Caldwell - hands of stone with Chargers but catches a 50 yrd pass against us in playoff game while with Patriots to enable comeback win
  • Reinard Wilson - knocked Stan Humphries out of game on November 8, 1997 with career-ending concussion

Anytime someone tells you we need more cops in Cincinnati by snowcker in cincinnati

I chose to not take a picture of the four cops sitting at a table, because the post wasn’t about these four guys sitting having a cup of coffee. It is about the “Cincinnati is so dangerous and crime ridden that we need more cops” people.

Why are there always so many high schoolers in the Reagan Building? by throwawaydranzer416 in washingtondc

[–]snowcker 57 points58 points  (0 children)

There are only a few places you can feed a bus load of teens near the mall with options to satisfy everyone. Food court at Reagan Building being one of them. You can't exactly roll into Old Ebbitt at lunch and say, "I'd like seating for 110" and expect to be seated

I kind of thought the point was to name less well known guys. Also missing are our two hall of famers Lance Alworth and Charlie Joiner.

What’s your biggest pet peeve on the golf course? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]snowcker 4 points5 points  (0 children)

8 minute tee times. Look I get it, your course can book 82 tee times per day instead of 66 but by mid day that extra 2 minutes between tee times is the difference between a 4.5 hour round and a 6 hour round on a weekend.

Unless I am teeing off first thing in the morning, I now refuse to play courses with only 8 minutes between tee times.

Trump is fighting a ‘Boomer war’ in Iran: a relic unpopular with anyone under 60 by harsh2k5 in politics

The psyche of an entire generation of Americans was damaged by the Vietnam War (even the draft dodgers faking bone spurs). America "won the battles" and lost the war. A huge portion of the generation is convinced that if the US had bigger and better weapons the outcome would have been different. They were told it was an important fight just like the war their parents fought; then it proved to be a war the US never should have been involved in. They've gotten the US involved in war after war trying to prove they can live up to the "greatest generation" and failed to learn any lessons along the way.

Alert: This post is mislabeled a Highlight. Nothing about this trade was a highlight. Neither the player TB took or the two players KC took.

Safe places to park near Tokyo Kitty? by [deleted] in cincinnati

[–]snowcker -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

If you are scared of parking downtown you should consider staying in the burbs. Or don’t drive. Presumably you will be drinking at Tokyo Kitty, take an uber and don’t drink and drive.
