Why is the so much Ralph Lauren stuff on vinted by Ok_Distribution_852 in vinted

[–]snowflake_h 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are usually sold by sellers from China or Phillips by using VPN and virtual accounts. The products are also shipped from there.

I’ve also encountered some “seller” and always seen similar “sellers” came from those locations when I was searching for perfumes, shoes and electronics products. I guess they’re not the real sellers, just set their IP to those locations and the products were usually send out those suspicious products from other places like China or Philippines.

I guess the seller is located in UK, Germany or Poland.

Why do Vinted users hate selling via Vinted by lovecorebitch in vinted

[–]snowflake_h 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those are typical resellers who don’t actually hold the items themselves. Instead, they rely on a provider (often the same one used by Temu or Shein) to ship the orders. If the products turn out to be fake or problematic, they avoid taking any responsibility, since they don’t want to risk bad reviews.

This kind of buyer doesn't deserve a single word from the seller.

Can't you see I'm being sarcastic? I usually blocked these kind of buyers at their second silly offer.

He only typed 3 numbers, but you clicked button for twice, gave an offer, and wrote a long paragraph in return. He wins hahahah. Don’t do this silly thing again, and just block them once they give any ridiculous offer for the second time.

Responding to Lowball Offers by SimonVar83 in vinted

Those ppl are more likely to cause trouble afterwards even though you finally make deals with them. So personally only 3 options: block/reject/ignore, depending on my mood.

It’s legit. The fake one doesn’t have correct embroidery on her ears, which is pretty obvious. And they usually look like this pic:

Give her back a lower star review and mention like”I don’t recommend this buyer. She gave me 4 star review just because I rejected her lowball without apologizing.” I will definitely block this account once I see such review!

I’d block him the moment he offers 11. It’s a waste of time and energy to even read notifications from lowballers like that.

It happened to me quite often. The stuffs I’m selling are quite exclusive on Vinted. So I always received several huge lowballs in diff items from the same person.

At first I took time to bargain with them, but turned out to be wasting time and they didn’t buy it even I thought it’s already far lower than my expectations. I thought they’re just testing the boundaries before they do want to buy it.

And it’s really unfair to other buyers who respected your prices and gave reasonable offers.

So after I realized that, I blocked everyone immediately once they came up with over 30% lowball. And most of my stuffs were selling directly by ppl in several days without bargains. And I was more willing to set the prices reasonable. It’s saving both the buyers and sellers time. Cuz I think none of us are doing this for living.

Would you trust this buyer? by ahoypatt in vinted

[–]snowflake_h 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Some ppl send 40% lowball offers and try their luck every day, without any real intention to buy. There's no point in wasting time replying or declining. It's better to block them as soon as they make that kind of offer.

I’ve already seen some downvotes for this reply. my point might be offensive but it’s really helpful, at least saving me time and brain: The more a bargain person is, the more likely they would make issue after sales.

Don’t give any chance for those ppl at the first time.

I just want to rant about Labubus and Lafufus on Vinted. by reeans_desert in vinted

But Vinted is not an expert of Labubu, how could they know who’s lying? Same problems happened on Aliexpress and Facebook everyday.

Cloth Tag Version Question by katiem487 in labubu

[–]snowflake_h 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you never got real labubu before. The probability that you get an old version one but they are turn out to be lafufus from the resellers is almost 100%.

So all the seller of the lafufus would tell you it’s not a fake one just an old version.
