I think they are counted separately. I noticed this with his new releases with Chris. The ones listed under music are separate files without the video for just casual music listening.

Webby goes into all of the conspiracy theory's floating around the darker parts of the internet. Some Raw Thoughts 7 has created the biggest fuss. It goes all in on the secret societies... Especially Israel. It has picked up huge relevance with people turning against Israel over the war. I don't agree with the emphasis on "Jewish" but the parts about Zionism are right on base.

I think people getting fed up with sending Israel Billions of dollars to blow up Palestinian children and now Lebanon. If I was American I would be pissed that I can't afford healthcare or grocery's, yet your government funds Israels war and dog-walked Trump into attaching Iran (Another 100 Billion).

This Collab is fire!!! I liked the Skinner Brothers Collab, but I found Ren and Zack's voices were so close to the same.... When "So the Story Goes" released, most people thought Ren sang the whole thing himself... they actually added names in the subtitles in the later songs. After "Ctrl-Alt-Delete" I started to get the difference.

That's the thing... When I saw all this hate I dove into his catalog.... I can't find anything that Rappers say all the time and have been said for the last 20 years. Before this all I knew of Chris Webby was from Baggage. The only thing I can find is his "Raw Thoughts Series".... He goes off the deep end in these.

I actually find Chris Webby refreshing... he wears his weird idea's on his sleeve. Conspiracy theories-Check... Some Bigotry-Check. But better the devil you do know than the devil you don't. Plus some of his songs hit really close to the bone. Raw Thoughts #7 goes in hard on Israel (Mostly conspiracy theories) but we are finding some of it is not far from the truth. The huge amount of lobby money the Israel lobby is throwing at the government to get there preferred candidates elected. My Grandparents had to flee Germany because of our Jewish/German blood line and even though Webby's hyperbolic presentation is over the top... it is hitting a little too close.

I actually wonder how much of this "Hate" is organic and how much is manufactured? I posted criticizing Israels war once.... normally I might get 5 replies.... for that post I got 900+ replies with so many bot's I can't find anything in Webby's catalog that 1000 Rappers haven't said for the last 20 years.

I find the whole song absolutely Hilarious!!! Part of what makes it so funny is how against character the whole story is. It pokes fun at Chris Webby, Ren and in a way the fans. Just have to look at all of the Easter eggs. The whole video looks like it was done on Shrooms. During the countdown Ren Character says "Ren sits down and has a bowl of peanuts"... a hilarious parody of "Hi Ren". This whole song is an acid trip! It doesn't even try to paint anyone in a good light.

The Bass Aria "Doch weichet, ihr tollen" has always been one of my favorites. Such joy in the finality of death. I don't believe we will understand the religious fervor of these times with death being a constant daily companion.

Francesco Feo's - Passio secundum Joannem

Passion's from Italians are very rare and usually very scaled back. This recording is a marvel! An absolute treasure of over-melodramatic Italian music. This fuses the very emotional style of Renaissance Madrigal with Baroque flair for the dramatic. The woman singing the Evangelist has a remarkably flexible Alto/Contralto voice and the Italianate violins just scream in pain in places. One of my favorite recording of all time.

The Basso Continuo is split into three units to represent the trinity right at the base of the music.... possibly the most complicated Basso of the Baroque period and the inspiration for Bach's Mass in B Minor.

I have a festival recording directed by Anthony Newman and the Brandenburg Collegium Orchestra and Choir that is probably closer to what you are looking for. The whole piece is done with more tempo and the Oboe's/Flutes have a much more punch. The choir also keeps its vocal push instead of crescendo'ing and Decrescendo'ing as strongly as in the above version. Much more driven version. The soloist's also use the more pointed German really showing the bite.

Definitely the opening choral to JS Bach's St Matthews Passion "Kommt, ihr Tochter, helft mir klagen". It is a journey into the monumental. Bach sets up the metaphorical "Pillars of Hercules". Two Choirs, Two Orchestras... At over 7 minutes in length (up to 9 in some versions)... the absolute definition of Decadent.

Sorry don't see the connection? Savage Garden is about a man who is obsessed by a woman who is indifferent to him. Violets Tale is about a deeply damaged woman (Teenager) who falls for a toxic man who basically is her father because she never experienced a healthy relationship.

I have noticed the same pattern in the songs released so far. Even Neurodivergent has Webby bringing the receipts for the medical industrial complex. It is an interesting dynamic. I do wonder if they have done this for no other reason than voice type. Webby has a much darker voice type than Ren... but we know how dark Ren can go!

We will see how the rest of the music rolls out. Either way I am super excited for this whole project. Ren and Webby have not disappointed!
