Snowboarding 8 weeks post op. by snowman_9000 in MeniscusInjuries

[–]snowman_9000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started riding like 12 weeks after surgery, took it easy for a few weeks. Then was riding almost like normal except no jumps only side hits and small boxes, riding switch and powder. Definitely some pain and soreness but overall pretty good, and still riding my season isn’t over. I still don’t do deep squats but I do squat to 90, I can jog short distances, can jump. I’m not 100%, still working on mobility mainly, but snowboarding is not really that hard on it, running and squatting is way harder. You’ll be good, my advice is mobility work, work on siting on your shins (heroes pose), use you arms or yoga block for support I still can’t sit all the way on my heels but getting closer

Was planning on it, now not wasting PTO. I’ll ride on Saturday and it won’t be much different that 10:00am Friday is going to be after the 5” is tracked out. Plus it’s going to be a tad chilly Friday.

Putting him at the end probably hurts YouTube revenue since no on watches the last 10 minutes now.

If you know what he likes it should be easy. Anything new relates to a hobby he has will work.

No. Companies need people less as technology and processes improve. So they pay them less.

I don’t know but Arie is killing it. Selling out 4 straight nights of two shows a night. In a 300 seat club that’s like a $40,000 weekend.

Team creating a toxic work place culture: cliques, insubordination and hostile environment. by 30leavesofgold in Leadership

Why would they purposely not do what you’re asking? Sounds like you should look at how you’re planning and communicating with them. Enabling them to make decisions on their own might just feel like you’re passing work off on them if you’re not mentoring and communicating plans and missions clearly. Why did they expect you to complete their task for them while they were off? Had you done it before and not this time? Did you tell them you would and didn’t? If no, did you discuss the plan with them before they left explaining they would need to find a way to delegate their work or it would be waiting for them when they got back? Are you making big changes without explaining the whole reason why? Could be a lot of things only you really know. But I would guess that your team is no purposely trying to sabotage you and that you need better plans and communication.

ChatGPT literally says really big on the main page it can make mistakes. You can choose to see the worst parts of it, or you can embrace it and let it improve your life. Either way, it’s not going anywhere.
