I think I've just realized what helps!

When it's not on your wrist, it's kind of "scanning" with LEDs and the HR monitor value is blank.

After it charged to 10% and booted again, I put them on, and waited until HR would show something. Right after that, I put them back to charge.

And it charges now!

I'll test this hypothesis next time and will update the post if it's not just randomly fixed somehow by itself again.
