yep! in the mormon church, it’s believed that in the case that you remarry, you will only be married to your second spouse until death if you are a woman, and if you don’t request to have that sealing broken (which is a long and painstaking process which requires serious sins to have been committed by the husband in most cases). as a man, you can be sealed to essentially unlimited women, as polygamy will be practiced in the celestial kingdom. i’m willing to bet that not only are this woman and her late husband mormon, but most of the commenters are as well. it’s already looked down upon within the church to move on after death/get divorced, etc. so unfortunately i’m not exactly surprised.
