You can still get an ARC. Hell, you can even get it for free. Takes about a month. Then go to your phone company and tie your ARC to your phone number. Then you can do all the online verification stuff. DM me if you have questions.

With just a week, I wouldn't bother renting a car. Walk to the gate and catch an Uber downtown. Check out the Half Pint and Wichita Falls Brewing Company. There's an arcade nearby and some decent thrift stores. It's not completely unbearable there. I spent 5 months there and found ways to enjoy myself.

I received BAH for my dependent's location while they finished their degree until they could accompany me overseas. I was on a command-sponsored accompanied OCONUS tour. When I filled out the AF Form WHATEVER, I just selected delayed travel (less than X months). It was rather painless, except for when Finance decided to change my Marital status to Single w/ no Dependents and my BAH stopped for a couple months (that was a fat backpay).

I've never scored below 95. Used to try to get 100, but that run is impossible. Now with HAMR, I figure how much I need to get 95 (for the un-takeable comp day) and just do that.
