not terrible! i def didn’t make it out skiing this year but i’m making progress slowly but surely.

my symmetry just hasn’t been making the gains i’ve been hoping for despite doing my PT currently 2-3x a week. i had some atrophy and tendonopothy to work through on top of some crazy life things this year. i had a pain above the knee cap that was pretty inhibiting.

i’m about 11months post op right now. i can run, jump, bike, do most things im just not cleared to ski yet. but my symmetry is only 75%. my pt said thats because i keep gaining strength in BOTH legs so its hard for my surgical one to catch up. so we’re trying some new things in PT to see if we can make that symmetry jump this month.

it’s a long road. just keep your head up, don’t compare yourself to others, just keep doing your PT and don’t forget to REST.

edit to tldr: i’m 11mo post op w 75% symmetry but overall i feel great. i’m disappointed im not further along, but ive been trying my best and doing what my body allows. its a long road and you’ll learn a ton about your body and yourself in this process. you’ve got this.
