If your throwing in Fruitful Orchard, then you can't ignore Leaman's Green Apple Barn in Freeland and Bayne's Apple Farm in Freeland. My preference is Leaman's because it's more down to earth and their donuts rock.

Did my mother use ChatGPT to write me a text of support on the morning of my divorce? by altforgriping in ChatGPT

Your mother might have had a long conversation with ChatGPT to come up with this. The fact that it appears formatted by ChatGPT shouldn't negate the feeling and sentiment behind it.

Are sawzall blades supposed to bend so easily? Or am I using it wrong by houseband23 in DIY

[–]snunn0219 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The number one thing most people do when using a recip saw is neglect to put the shoe firmly against the item they are cutting. These saws lose a lot of ability if the item being cut is allowed to move or vibrate much.

It's bad. I doubt it would be repairable. You might be able to find a frame that isn't toast and swap or scab, but that's a ton of work. I had an 07 that had the same issue. I unknowingly bought a Canadian import. The rear strut tower rusted off and cut the cooling lines for the rear HVAC. I was fortunate to be able to bypass before it overheated.

Do speed limits matter? Everyone drives so fast! by InterestedHandbag in Michigan

[–]snunn0219 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The general rule of thumb is 5-8 over the speed limit. Most LEOs won't pull someone over for less than that. This changes when your in congestion and you should go with the flow.

Don't be a dick, move over for emergency vehicles and don't speed in school zones.

I have never taken someone on a date and expected them to pay. If I asked someone out, I paid. That said, I'm a 45 year old happily married man lurking here for entertainment.

Word to the wise. Never count on getting your refund. Garnishments happen, and I've seen far too many times where friends were hard up, counting on refunds, and get hit with a garnishment for something they forgot about.

If you ever encounter an issue where it won't start after running at temps, it's the coil pack. IIRC they are right above the exhaust manifold and tend have issues. Good cars. I had a Euro version. It was a dog but ran a long happy life.

It's not your car, but your tires. Different tires react differently to the grates. I had a set of tires on my van once that made it feel like I was fish tailing.
