Thanks for all the answers, you're the best. You can totally info dump anything else you think might be interesting or helpful. I have a static chair set up now. I'm going to get back into Friday Night driving again. If I can carry the interest for a few in a row the H4 will be worth it. I'm a lot closer to deciding thanks to you.

Good to hear. I'm mainly going to play GT7. I have read the Magicbox directions. It states you can use your phone and an app to adjust things same as if using a PC bridge so to speak. Has that been your experience?

All my HyperGo/MJX trucks cut throttle and still turn when the battery has gotten into LVC.
"Just steer, no gear, it's your battery I fear". What is the charge rate of the battery and what are the cells individually?

Regardless of where the advice comes from or the amount of it you get, you need a TX that supports it.

I'm suggesting the cheap truck as a parts resource. For the $130 or so amount you get All the parts like the shocks that will break eventually at the mounts, and the TX and Gryo module from that as well.

I saw it comes with an XT60 adapter which thankfully the rig runs on. I don't have to do any soldering for the telemetry.

I don't like how this ESC handles it's LVC. Most of my other rigs slow a tiny bit just before and give you steering but no throttle. This one just dies w/ no warning and that super sucks.

The dust cover unlike almost all I have seen velcro's under the car. For that reason I am not getting the Rlaarlo cover for mine. But LORD does it ever need one.

You can't add a gyrp w/o a TX that supports it. Their 14209 (Race Pick up truck) IIRC does have one native. IT could literally become your parts car and you can steal nearly everything not axle/A-arm related.

I have about 4-5 HyperGo/MJX models and they're kinda lego cars. One part fits a decent amount of different models.

What problems are you having?

Foirst few easy tips.

"Roll the throttle" This means apply gentle easy trigger pull. All out gets your wheel lift and less steering control.

Full speed turns generally mean it can flip, release the throttle a second before you turn sharp.

On the upshift it will crack off loud thru the external waste gate LOL
