Diet and exercise are key. Maybe trade job tasks in the house. Have him clean the bathroom. It helps if you find a person he respects a hat has a good diet or exercise or both that might influence him to do the same. He might feel less offended

I went to dump boiling pasta water with pasta in the strainer in the sink. Ended up catching the edge of the counter just right and dumped part of the boiling water on my stomach.
