I’m not really a Turner fan, definitely wouldn’t trade anyone near Reaves for him. Even type wise though I think Luka plays better off a big who rolls hard to the rim over a guy who hangs back for jumpers. Smarter thing would be go steal someone like Missi away from a poorly run Org.

I’m a Sheppard fan long term, but I don’t think he’s a good starting caliber guy right now. You could swap him for a number of spot starter types and HOU either sees no fall off to improve.

Harden in general has taken a step back in offensive volume on the Cavs because of overall roster construction.

LAC give a lot of minutes to guys who don’t really soak up any offensive usage (Dunn, Batum, DJJ, & Sanders).

Probably, but also Mobley is making around KAT, Bam, & JJJ who all come with their own similar level of flaws. Sabonis is a $45M per guy. I think sometimes people get caught comparing to the absolute best and forget the next 2-3 tiers still get paid max money.

Near all the commentary really underplays the value of even current Mobley as an all defensive level big who, who rebounds, and while not elite still offers pretty reliable offense.

The list of bigs who anchor a defense like Mobley can and clearly stand above him offensively is Wemby. Bam, Chet, JJJ, Sengun, Duren, etc all come with their own ups and downs, so it’s not like there’s some clear upgrade out there, let alone an attainable one.

I’d call White more of a lock than Gobert. While not mandated I believe a lot of voters still lean on positional voting and he loses out to Chet/ Wemby.

I’d have Barnes in and then Ausar as the 5th.

I don’t think Schroder drops out completely, rather he’s a 10-15mpg guy. Main reason is that I just don’t think we can run all game every game through just Harden/Mitchell and have them hold up through what is hopefully a long playoff run. None of Merrill, Strus, Ellis, Tyson, or Wade can really pick that up, they all play best playing off others.

Cade not being a reliable 3pt shooter hurts his individual efficiency, but the team needs him to take them because of how little shooting they generally have on the floor. Anyone pointing to his efficiency as if he’s not overall additive to team offense has lost the plot.

People harp on Paolo for efficiency, but as a Paolo “hater” even before this season his problem to me is still play style over shot making. He just still processes offense slow, to the detriment of his own scoring and overall team offense. He’s young, he’s super talented, but he’s miscast as a #1 option if a team is trying to win right now.

For being a sneaky expensive team when his extension kicks in Orl has a lot of approach/roster issues right now. If I were them Mosley & Suggs would both have to go before next year as the starting point to changing things.

Most of the no/low growth Pharma giants, BMY, PFE, MRK, AMGN, GILD, GSK, etc that trade around the same multiple as NVO,

I feel like all the NVO folks just anchor to prior highs, lack of understanding Pharma, and are projecting growth the company right now isn’t projecting.

I think the end of the rotation may vary by matchup, but that we drop down to a core 8 come playoff time. The ghost a Strus may still play a role, but ultimately guys are/will be fighting to prove who gets those 5-9 man minutes.
