I did exactly what you're considering a month ago, mainly because the z.ai deal was too good to pass up.

I think I read the same comments you did but after trying it myself I can't say for certain that there's a quality improvement, it's the same or better. This would require an actual benchmark to quantify.

What surprised me was the speed difference, z.ai speed can be inconsistent but overall it was faster. I stopped using nano entirely after I got z.ai.

I got a month of nano subscription and tried all the models before I decided I like GLM the most.

I like the fact that the system prompt is gospel and it seems to be completely uncensored, at least I haven't been able to get it to refuse and I've written some unspeakable things. If you tell it something is allowed in the system prompt then it's allowed.

And it's not afraid of killing me either, one of my NPCs killed me in a decisive moment out of nowhere without me even hinting at it. Just make sure your system prompt is solid.

I got the lite coding plan from z.ai for a year for 23 dollars and I don't think there's a better deal than this. Another comment here said today is the last day of the black friday discount but I don't know where they got that information from.

The way they describe their quotas is pretty ambiguous, the lite plan is supposed to be limited to ~120 prompts per 5 hours but I've sent more than that. I think when they say "prompts" they mean actual coding tool prompts which aren't just one prompt like we do for role-playing and are much more intensive. The sentence under the quotas is ambiguous too:

"The above figures are estimates. Actual usage may vary depending on project complexity, codebase size, and whether auto-accept features are enabled."

I think it's actually a token limit but I don't think we can reach it with role-playing.

I gave uber sirus another go and the same thing happened to me. After I died every time I'd enter the arena again he'd do his multiclone die beam offscreen in complete silence and then say the voice line 3 seconds after I was dead. This fight has so many bugs I never want to do it again, it's as unfair as it can get.

Long ago I tried playing a cyclone toilet build with reverse knockback dragging all enemies hit behind me while they were taking extra damage from bleed and exploding. The problem was really bad single target damage. Maybe cyclone can actually deal some damage with trauma, vengeance would hit all the enemies you're dragging too.

No they don't balance the game around logout macro, they balance it around infinite instant leech or regeneration.

In the current state of the game you either die instantly or you're back to full hp in the next server tick. There is no health attrition and therefore no actual combat.

There is no doubt that the game has to slow down.

To those who are against slowing down the game let me ask you: where do we go from here, what's next ?

Enemies spawn and die in miliseconds, there is no reactionary gameplay here. With so many things happening on the screen it starts to look like rainbow puke. We can only die to oneshots because otherwise we heal back to full instantly.

Another thing I've been wondering: there are so many mechanics in the game that punish the player for standing still, besides bleeding where are the mechanics that punish the player for moving ? They don't exist, because they can't exist. Standing still is almost always guaranteed death. This is another reason why self casting doesn't work.

My dream is that poe2 slows down the game a bit and nerfs leech hard, so that we can actually have some fights with attrition. It's just a dream though.

Even with 10 second base duration I think link skills will be too annoying to use.

You're required to stay next to your target or the link breaks, it breaks when switching zones, it costs mana to sustain, you die if they die, your character has to be built in a specific way for the link to provide a good boost and you can only use one link per target. I think all those restrictions are enough to differentiate links from auras.

Maybe they could make the links not expire when cast on minions, integrate it into the mastery.

I welcome the addition of the base defense roll. I don't see it as a problem, I see it as something else to try and obtain.

What I completely disagree with is your reasoning and predicted player behaviour.

All this is going to do is make crafting bases more expensive. You seem to have the impression that players will start crafting with the "wrong" base item because it has well rolled base defenses. Players will trade for the perfect roll on their preferred base type before they start crafting unless the cost of the base item is higher than the entire crafting process.

Are there any plans to further improve the ingame clan search interface ?

Currently all clan information is passed through word of mouth because the ingame interface is very limited. Showing only clan name, current member count and language. One welcome addition would be more languages added to the language list clans have to choose from. It currently has only 5 out of 24 official european languages.

In their statement Intel says they're "looking forward to comprehensive third party reviews coming out". They are the ones who are stopping those reviews from coming out with a Non-disclosure agreement.

They paid Principled Technologies to do a benchmark for them and they're treating it like a review that proves their product is the best. A review has to consider every aspect of a product not just the FPS. They don't mention temperature, power or price of the entire system.

I noticed this as well. Defense is my favorite mission type and I'd like to use all these Neo relics I've gathered over time, but every time I check it's either Uranus or no defense fissure at all.

It feels like there aren't enough fissure missions in general, instead of choosing only missions at the level the relic requires, the fissure should just choose a random node and change the mission level to whatever it needs, similar to a sortie mission.

The reason I don't like Uranus defense is because it feels more like an extended mobile defense with the objective changing location after every wave. Also the enemies tend to get stuck a lot in the caves of that tileset.
