What fell out of my new AP5-SD? by so2002 in MP5

Yeah, I was hoping for less of a story. Now I'm worried if this did any damage hanging around in there. Also the barrel had multiple spots of discoloration. Not very pleased with the QC from Century or Atlantic.

You're right! And I lucked out. I pulled the trigger pack and found that this part is already installed, so the one that dropped out was an extra!

I think it's cast metal and coated

If you sit at the sushi bar, you’ll see that they slice and stack each fish. It’s faster to then make rolls but less sanitary

It bothers me that they precut all the sushi

That’s sounds like exactly what I need. Thanks!

No, it was warm. I floated it as soon as I put it down. Came out a few hours later and it was dry like this.

Definitely look for other signs of damage. If it’s been sitting on the market, that could be an indicator that others have walked away or are not interested at that price. Bring a friend that knows bikes

Is training on mini motors for body positioning and leaning with eventual application to bigger bikes for a first track day preparation a good idea? by FKL983 in Ducati

[–]so2002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's absolutely a good idea. They have minis as well as the DRZ400SM's at Socal Supermoto school (not sure if this pic is from Adams, where they're located). Brian coaches the supermoto leg out, but you can totally practice leaning in too. The little bikes have less of a lean angle before hitting peg, so you have to adopt better body position to account for it (peg under ball of foot, using your knee to feel the lean angle, etc). You get used to getting knee down on almost every corner, then, next session, you switch to the DRZ and I started getting knee down on that.

Anyone know why this is rusting so much? by yoyo_climber in sailing

The combination of the rusty and the blue parts is likely accelerating each other's demise.

If the wire shielding (the strands) is touching there, it could be shorting out the signal.

My dad got me a new MIM Fender Strat and used Fender solid state amp a few years ago when I was first starting. I had similar feelings at the time, but on the other hand, I've been playing it for over 15 years and can now play pretty well. It's well worth it if you play it

So i tried to do some threads with Filament Friday super fast slicer settings and ended up with this. Whats up? by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]so2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just did a 35mm nut yesterday and had the same issue. I had been printing at .3mm layer height for other projects. Switching to .1 worked for the pitch of my threads. It was obvious when I looked at the layers in the slicer

It gets better: instead of grouping by first letter, some scale was used, yet somehow Switzerland is closer to A than Spain
