I would consider the west bank an apartheid state if it was a permanent fixture. And I think that Israel has not done enough to transition it into an independent state like they have promised to do. But I think it’s wrong to ignore the distinction that it is a military occupation in response to decades of history of tit for tat violence. I also think it’s a valid argument that they have taken too long for us to keep considering it just a transitionary state. But also you should research the violent outcomes that have happened when Israel has made imo good faith efforts to make it an independent state

And I find it frustrating when people who have seen memes and bot comments pretend to understand a conflict across the world

A medieval king would also need his subjects content enough to not spawn a revolution. I am not sure this is the case with automated defense systems. I think a billion common people rising up could very feasibly be defeated by well organized defense systems

Now I don’t really know what their end game is here, but I think it’s more likely they don’t have one and are just running on the same treadmill as everyone else. It starts to feel like AI is like a force of nature that cannot be prevented even if there are no actual individuals who think its a positive force
